Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government has increased its planned allocations for Haya Karima (A Decent Life) Initiative for fiscal year 2020/2021 to EGP 8 billion in a bid to cover more than 375 rural areas, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Wednesday, citing the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala El-Saeed, as saying.
This decision is part of the localisation of sustainable development goals, one of the key pillars of Egypt Vision 2030, El-Saeed noted.
The initiative is aimed at improving the quality of life of Egyptians in the neediest areas in the country.
